After adding the company’s address to social networks, customers and employees will be able to tag visits to the location in their posts and stories. This is a good opportunity to promote the company in connection with the location address on the map.
This is what the mark looks like in Facebook and Instagram posts, respectively:

In addition, the company’s Facebook page will automatically count the number of people who visited the location:

1. First, you need to create a company page on Facebook
Your personal Facebook page is your personal social profile. We need to create a company page. Follow the link and fill in all the basic fields: https://www.facebook.com/pages/creation/ (be sure to specify the name and category of the page).
Important: The name of your page will be the name of the location that will be displayed in posts and stories.
I have a test page that I used to record all the lessons for my course:

It has a name, a category, and an avatar. You can now add an address for it.
2. Adding the address to the company page information
Once the page is created, you should find the “Edit Information” button. It will be either on the left side of the menu or in the “About” block:

In the information about the page we add the address. There is no such procedure as Google, where you have to additionally confirm the address of the company. The main thing is that the city and the zip code match. And do not forget to put a mark on the map in the same city.

The most important thing under the map put this checkbox, if you have one:

It is what will allow you to make marks and check-ins in your location. But this checkbox does not appear for all categories. So if there is a checkbox – put it, if there is no such option – go on
3. Wait up to 5 business days
Immediately after saving an address to the Facebook page, you will not be able to mark that address. Perhaps it is undergoing manual moderation or it needs time to update the database. Either way, support says to wait up to 5 business days and then you can check in and mark company visits in posts and storis. Tested this on 3 different pages and it works. Realistically there is such a lag of 3-4 days.
After a few days, the location can be marked in a Facebook post:

In Instagram, you don’t need to configure anything else. The name of your location is the name of the company’s Facebook page. And after all the steps above, you can mark the location in your Instagram posts and posts:

If you need to update the name or address, it’s simple: go to the settings of the company page on Facebook and change it. Changes are saved immediately without a delay of 3-4 days.
